Self-Study 03: Terrains & Probuilder
Terrain Tools
Continuing with last weeks unity scene, I added a flat terrain and used the noise brush from the Terrain Tools package to paint some hills and mountains into my scene. I then flattened out some paths into the mountains for this weeks tutorial involving path finding, making sure it's not just all mountains.
Probuilder
I decided to make a barn/vehicle storage unit as my build. I kept it simple with a curved roof and a lower trim for a bit of detail as the back and sides looked too flat and plain. The 45 degree angles on the opening reminds me of some of the large building you would see in the Halo games.
Along the top right a section turned completely black for some reason and I was unable to fix it... No idea how this happened.
Some additional builds including an overhead cover and some stairs in the spawn area, as well as a bridge to the building I made!
